John Bradberry on $200M for Steph Curry

Steph Curry, point guard for the Golden State Warriors, recently agreed to a five-year, $201 million contract, making him the second-highest paid player in the NBA. According to John Bradberry, Charlotte, NC blogger and founding partner of the internationally-renowned executive consulting firm ReadyFounder Services, Steph Curry’s deal was the direct result of pragmatism, persistence, and patience.

When Curry was selected by the Golden State Warriors in 2009, he signed a four-year, $12 million contract; three years later in 2012, his rate increased to $44 million. Since his rookie year, Curry has twice been named MVP, contributed to two championships, participated in four NBA All-Star games, and was the 2016 scoring champion.
