Jerome Myers to Deliver Keynote Address at 10th MDOT HBCU TDRP Internship Showcase

Once a burgeoning businessman, Jerome Myers left corporate America to pursue his dream of making a difference in the world and building multigenerational wealth. Through these pursuits, Myers has learned the challenges of blazing your own trail as an individual and as a minority. His experiences make him uniquely qualified to share insights with the diverse audience at the 10th season of the Transportation Diversity Recruitment Program (TDRP), sponsored by a partnership between the Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) and Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU).

A firm believer that dreams should become a reality, Jerome Myers seeks out opportunities to inspire and coach others as they work toward dream realization. While he began his personal pursuits in multifamily investing, Myers dedicates much of his time to his financial advisor coaching programs. Interested individuals can work with Myers one-on-one, in groups, or by attending his Exodus Mastermind or Line to Zion workshop. This speaking engagement will allow Myers to reach young adults at a pivotal point in their lives, just embarking on their careers, and inspire them to pursue their dreams.

The MDOT HBCU TDRP provides valuable resources for students earning degrees in transportation-related fields. Through the program, students participate in internships and job shadowing opportunities, allowing them to expand their skills and knowledge beyond what they learn in the classroom and prepare them to enter the workforce. The theme of this year’s Internship Showcase is “Breaking Barriers, Building Bridges: A Decade of Diversity and Inclusion in Transportation,” with the goal of introducing students from underrepresented groups to the career options available to them in the transportation industry.
