Eva Mayer was born and raised in Siberia. She graduated from Altai State University, a public research and coeducational university located in Barnaul, Russia, where she studied at the Department of Accounting, Analysis and Auditing. However, while Eva has always been good in math, working in accounting has never been her dream. She is a multifaceted person interested in a wide variety of things, whose charisma and ambitions have led her to become a rising star of contemporary Russian poetry.

As it has already been mentioned, Eva Mayer started her artistic career in early 2019, at the time when she could not ‘remain silent’ any longer. Poetry came to Eva naturally, with the desire to tell the truth about the real world and all those ‘obvious’ things that people prefer not to notice or simply ignore. Eva Mayer’s poetry reflects her wisdom, sense of humor, mind, and, most importantly, her courage to tell people the truth they sometimes do not want to hear.

For today, Eva Mayer has already released two albums: “Без масок (No masks)” and the recent one “Самая умная (The smartest),” each featuring her bold and straightforward poems about people and life. It’s interesting that in the last album, the poet reads her poems with electronic music in the background, making her poetry even more innovative and creative. Eva Mayer has a lot to say on innumerable subjects, and we definitely look forward to hearing her next album that will be released this October.
