For the third consecutive year, Intermountain Bear River Valley Hospital in Tremonton, Utah has been named one of Top 100 Rural and Community Hospitals in the America.
The annual ranking of America’s Top 100 Best Rural and Community Hospital is from The Chartis Center for Rural Health, which uses a proprietary index to evaluate and measure hospitals based on key performance areas.
“I’m so proud to be associated with such high caliber caregivers and grateful they’ve been recognized as a top hospital.” said Brandon Vonk, administrator of Intermountain Bear River Valley Hospital. “It’s not easy to make this list three consecutive years, but our collaboration and focus on patients is what has made this all possible.”
Another unique offering setting the hospital apart from others in the nation is its access to a wide variety of telehealth programs for adults and children. Telehealth gives doctors and their patients access to top specialists when they need it without having to travel long distances to where those doctors are located.
Later this year Bear River Valley Hospital will begin construction on expanding their emergency department to give more comfort to waiting patients and expand rooms for care.
