Integration Station Becomes the First Certified Autism Center in Charlotte

Integration Station, based in Charlotte, NC, has received the Certified Autism Center (CAC) designation from the International Board of Credentialing and Continuing Education Standards (IBCCES). The CAC designation is awarded to organizations whose staff have completed training and certification in in best practices when working with children and individuals with autism and other disorders through IBCCES.

Integration Station (IS) specializes in the delivery of occupational therapy for children experiencing a variety of challenges that impact their daily routines. Many of its clients experience sensory processing difficulties, delays in motor development, and have neurological or genetic disorders that impact their journeys through life. By undergoing additional autism-specific training, the goal is for their team is better equipped to assist all their patients.

I’m excited and proud to announce that Integration Station will continue to provide top-notch care by becoming the first Certified Autism Center in the Charlotte, NC, area,” explained Nicole Cyphert, the CEO and Director of Integration Station Pediatric Therapy Services. “All staff at Integration Station participated in the extensive training to enhance our knowledge and allow us to better serve children and families living with autism. We will continue to deliver quality interventions to our families in our sensory clinic, as well as the natural environments of home, school, and daycare.”
