iKids U is announcing the launch of iKids U To You educational subscription box, an all-in-one at-home learning program with a foundation in building character. Each month they’re delivering educational adventures right to subscribers’ doorsteps, comprised of enriching activities for children to learn about the world and grow to become healthier, confident, and more successful kids.
Autumn Seiler, a pediatric therapist and working parent at the time she founded iKids, launched the organization to fill the gap she saw due to the lack of readily available after-school programming. The initial business model focus on providing in-person academic enrichment programs such as art and cooking. Since starting in 2007, iKids has reached hundreds of children from preschool to middle school, helping them flourish and grow in their our out-of-school enrichment programs.
Seiler says even before the COVID-19 pandemic caused many school districts to implement online education, she conceptualized offering an all-in-one subscription-based box that would arrive on the doorstep.
iKids U To You brings together virtual learning videos with hands-on experiences. The quality, safe content features healthy role models, as well as exercises for children’s character building, social-emotional learning, and life-skills. “All of the iKids U characters have a trade and trait,” Seiler says, “Which helps kids see that they can be anything they want to be and they are uniquely made to fulfill a purpose in this world.”
iKids U To You is especially for parents who are organizing multiple activities or subscriptions, as well as those who may be overwhelmed with pinning, prepping, and guiding lessons. Each box saves the time and guesswork of trying to put together quality enrichment activities for their children. “Parents will not have to go to the store to pick up supplies,” Seiler says, “And the child can have all the fun things right there in the box, providing them with STEM activities and educational enrichment.”
Each kit includes four lessons featuring illustrated character-building worksheets. There are three activities with supplies that complement the character lessons., plus a bonus activity with minimal supplies that are conveniently procured or found at home. The kit also offers access to engaging and interactive virtual instruction videos that guide the lessons. There’s also a special item from the iKids U spirit store or a character collectible.
“Countless scientific studies show that kids who learn through hands on experience grow to be happier, healthier, and more successful.” Seiler says.
iKids’ mission is to enrich and educate children so they love learning and look forward to it. They want to help children discover their own interests through exploring with their own two hands. The company is committed to involving families as partners in their children’s education, because they believe learning is a lifelong journey with the power to fuel self-discovery and foster growth.
