Taking advantage of the summer holidays, Biznovator conducted the 2017 Youth Business Camp in Santiago De Los Caballeros for high school kids

Entrepreneurs and their startups are changing the way we think of success. Their businesses have become major contributors to economies and even universities have started their own entrepreneurship courses. Numerous students are signing up for them in a bid to establish a successful business venture.
What would be the effect if such economic and business principles were exposed to a young mind? It would lead to the development of a young entrepreneur who understands the economic nuances, identifies potential opportunities and explores it successfully with his leadership capabilities. While there are no entrepreneurship courses in school, Biznovator has turned the idea of developing young entrepreneurial minds into a reality.
Taking advantage of the summer holidays, Biznovator conducted the 2017 Youth Business Camp in Santiago De Los Caballeros for high school kids. The event from August 3 to 5 saw a huge participation from kids who were getting bored during their vacation. The camp gave the students a perfect opportunity to learn about finance, business principles, business models, and economies, with the opportunity to discover and develop the leadership qualities in them.
The Youth Business Camp also exposed the participants to educators and business experts from the industry. Mr. Casimiro, coach of the event said, “Our camps aim to bring out and strengthen the young entrepreneur in the kids. After attending the camp the kids become more motivated learners and develop better leadership and problem solving capabilities. I’m really happy to see such so many kids signing up!”
The Centro Cultural Domínico-Americano was bustling with activity as the excited yet composed teenagers were busy preparing their business plans to compete for the winning idea. Parents were also really involved in the whole venture and for many of them this was a new experience. Mr. James, the father of a girl said, “In our days summer camps meant learning to climb, run, and jump without much purpose. It’s great to see such educational camps which genuinely contribute towards the future development of the child. I can only thank coach Casimiro and Biznovator for the initiative.”
Biznovator has been offering entrepreneur camps and workshops in many countries in the world over the last 30 years. They have enrolled over 25,000 students with its alumni receiving 10 million dollars of scholarship from various institutions.
