Hatchlift Patent Issued – Hatchlift Products, an RV accessories manufacturer, announced the granting of Patent # 8839559 for their Hatchlift Kit.
The Patent includes an adhesive backed mounting plate with adjustable rotational curved bracket in conjunction with a hydraulic gas spring. The kits unique feature is the ability to swing through an arc facilitating assistance in opening and closing a variety of doors.
Hatchlift Kits were designed to provide assistance in opening and closing light weight to medium doors. Typical applications include exterior baggage and storage doors found on Recreational Vehicles – Fifth Wheels, Travel Trailers, and Motor Homes. Other uses include residential floor doors, outside cellar door covers, and boat deck hatches.
