Gummi World Expands on Regulatory Compliance, Product Development

Gummi World announced the company hired a naturopathic doctor along with a director of research & development as the company continues to make waves in the dietary supplement manufacturing industry.

The new talents will join an impressive lineup of experts in the fields of healthcare, nutrition, food chemistry, and dietary supplement manufacturing. A medical doctor, naturopathic doctor, pharmacist, nutritionist, and food chemist collaborate to develop custom dietary supplement formulations for gummies, capsules, soft gels, and other delivery methods.

Dr. Seemab Zaman, N.D., will serve as the Director of Quality & Regulatory Affairs for Gummi World. She brings nearly 20 years of industry experience to Gummi World and will play an essential role in guiding the company’s direction as it prepares and unveils dietary supplements to the nutraceutical marketplace.

Dr. Zaman assists with and manages audits conducted by regulatory agencies in the dietary supplement space while maintaining the company’s strong standards for product quality. Since joining Gummi World, the facility achieved cGMP Certification and USDA Organic certification.

Gummi World prides itself on its ability to manufacture gummy dietary supplements from more than 100 ingredients, some of which were never seen in a gummi delivery format until they were brought to the marketplace by Gummi World. This is made possible by having Research & Development under the same roof as manufacturing, made possible in part by Director of R&D Ami Johnson.

Johnson has more than 15 years of experience in the food industry providing applications and technical support for a variety of industries including gelatin, a key excipient in both starchless gummies and capsules.

In addition to creating high quality, tasty gummies, she will assist with customer-focused business development. Throughout her career, Johnson built relationships with both startups and globally recognized Consumer Product Goods—recognizing that flexibility and transparency are valuable tools for successful formulations, project organization, and customer connections.

“Communicating and innovating with customers to make their concepts a reality has always been a passion of mine. I look forward to bringing my experience from both the technical support and application levels to the growth of Gummi World,” said Johnson.
