Free Face-to-Face Colorado At-risk Adult Mandatory Reporter Training Classes Begin October 2017

The Colorado Department of Human Services, Adult Protective Services (APS) has contracted with Anfeald to provide face-to-face at-risk adult mandatory reporter training to medical professionals and other designated professionals throughout the State of Colorado beginning in October 2017 and continuing through June 2018.
Colorado law requires designated professionals, called mandatory reporters, to report physical abuse, sexual abuse, caretaker neglect and exploitation of at-risk elders and at-risk adults with an intellectual and developmental disability (IDD). There are substantial penalties if a mandatory reporter fails to properly report the situation to law enforcement.
Anfeald will begin offering these free classes in October 2017 through the end of June 2018, throughout Colorado.
Anfeald’s free mandatory reporter training course will provide designated professionals with the information to enable appropriate reporting on the mistreatment of at-risk populations and comply with this important Colorado law. The training also provides information on urged reporting and reporting for employees of financial institutions, including licensed securities professionals.
