Included are various images of Our Lady from the sisters’ own mission sites in Arizona and Wisconsin, among other places;  La Guadalupana, a traditional hymn to Our Lady of Guadalupe performed by Los Liricos Jr., insights from Fr. Carlos Londono, and an interview with Dr Timothy Matovina, Professor of Theology and the William and Anna Jean Cushwa Director of the Cushwa Center for the Study of American Catholicism at the University of Notre Dame. His most recent books are Theologies of Guadalupe: From the Era of Conquest to Pope Francis and Latino Catholicism: Transformation in America’s Largest Church, winner of five book awards, including selection as a CHOICE “Outstanding Academic Title.”

Franciscan Sister Cecilia Joy Kugel interviews Noelle Brown at Casa Guadalupe, West Bend, Wisconsin. Through a combination of education and social services, Casa Guadalupe Education Center works to empower low-income, native-born and Spanish-speaking Latino families to live independent, successful lives, to build strong families and establish meaningful connections within their community. Equipped with a bilingual and bicultural volunteer staff, Casa Guadalupe Education Center remains a dedicated community outreach facility and a culturally appropriate site for both Hispanics and non-Hispanics to join together to celebrate and share in each other’s cultural heritages.

“Just as God poured out endless grace into Mary’s life… God desires to pour endless grace into our lives, to open up our hearts… that gives us great hope.” Dr Timothy Matovina

“At the end of our lives, all that matters is how we served our God and others, faithful to our call, and how well we respond generously to the inheritance that has been given to us.” Sr. Leonette Kochan, OSF
