Women who are discerning or even just beginning to explore Catholic religious life can arrange a visit to the Sisters’ N.E. Wisconsin Motherhouse at their convenience – for a few hours, a day or a weekend.

Contact the Sisters with your questions, hopes, preferences, and expectations for your own ‘Vocation Visit’ or a Discernment Experience Designed for You (and your friends if they’re interested). You can informally tour their historic Motherhouse; witness daily community life; see firsthand how Sisters serve in education, music, health care and parish ministries and/or shadow a Sister in her daily ministry. Or just contact a sister nearby you in Arizona, Wisconsin, Michigan, Nebraska, Missouri, Ohio, or Mississippi or adjacent states for a vocation conversation.

Other Upcoming Retreats include February 22-24 “Come and See Our Lives, Our Home” with Focus Missionaries from St Albert Campus Ministry at Michigan Tech and college students from Michigan’s U.P.  This Wisconsin Motherhouse weekend includes visits to ministry locations, and the Shrine of Our Lady of Good Help.

March 22 or 29 or April 19 or 26  Young Catholic Professional Women’s Friday Lenten Retreats.  Arrive in time for the Sacrament of Reconciliation, Evening Prayer or be at our Wisconsin Motherhouse at 5:30 p.m. for dinner with postulant and novice Sisters. A talk on Discernment of Spirits follows, with Stations of the Cross at 7 p.m. You’ll have the option to stay overnight or the weekend until Sunday.

“ A young professional is at a different point in her life, than someone in the first years of college. We respect your experience.” observes Sr. Julie Ann Sheahan, OSF Vocation Directress

May 24-26 Introducing Meditation and Contemplation:  Franciscan Sister Jacqueline Spaniola, OSF guides single, young adult women through prayer times with insights about how to meditate and how to grow in contemplative prayer – essential guides for discernment.

“At the end of our lives, all that matters is how we served our God and others, faithful to our call, and how well we respond generously to the inheritance that has been given to us.” Sr. Leonette Kochan, OSF

All Retreats and Visits are free but require registration. Call or text Sister Julie Ann 920-323-9632 for more information. Or visit https://fscc-calledtobe.org
