Life Savers ER is committed to the community’s well-being and is excited to announce a series of free events in May focused on nutrition, driving safety, and hurricane preparedness. These events will be held at various LifeSavers ER locations in Houston, featuring expert speakers, informative sessions, and opportunities for the community to learn and engage with vital health and safety topics.
May 15, Ignite Your Nutrition
Ignite Your Nutrition will occur on May 15 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Life Savers ER Willowbrook. Ashley Silva, co-founder of Ignite Nutrition, will share her inspiring weight loss journey and how she and her husband started their successful nutrition business. Attendees will learn about healthy smoothies, energizing teas, and the supportive community that Ignite Nutrition provides. Free wellness evaluations will be offered to everyone who attends the event.
May 15, HCSO Public Safety – Driving Safely
On May 15 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, Life Savers ER Heights will host HCSO Public Safety. Sheriff Deputy Nash Sidiq of the HCSO DWI Task Force will speak about driving safety, DWI statistics, and MADD (Mothers Against Drunk Driving). This event especially benefits new student drivers as we approach the summer months.
May 17, Full Body Wellness
Full Body Wellness will be held on May 17 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Life Savers ER Summerwood. This event brings together Hotworx and Hype Nutrition to share tips and tricks on maintaining a healthy body inside and out. All attendees will receive a free one-day trial at Hotworx to experience the unique combination of infrared heat absorption and isometric workouts that the fitness program offers.
Hurricane Preparedness
Lastly, Hurricane Preparedness will take place on May 23 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Life Savers ER Heights. A Houston Office of Emergency Management representative will discuss essential safety tips and provide a checklist for hurricane preparedness. This event will help residents stay safe during the upcoming hurricane season.
