The contest, which will feature the Alabama Crimson Tide and the Ohio State Buckeyes, is scheduled to kick off at 8 p.m. on Monday at Hard Rock Stadium, the home of the NFL’s Miami Dolphins and the NCAA’s Miami Hurricanes. Fans of the Crimson Tide are excited about seeing their team play for the title just a 12-hour drive from home while Ohio State supporters are always looking forward to escaping the winter conditions that those in the Midwest must endure every year. Of course, both sets of fans are hopeful of having a celebratory party as well. As expected, these squads will bring stellar records into this contest; Alabama is 12-0 while the Buckeyes are 7-0.

The Hardrock Stadium

It’s important for fans to note that Hard Rock Stadium will be just a quarter full of fans as 16,000 of its seats will be occupied; its capacity is 65,326. Those tickets have been provided to each teams’ players and coaches plus a select number of students and donors associated with the schools. Some have also been made available on the secondary market.
