Manchester, home to some of the most exciting bands and musicians in the world, has always been at the forefront of the music scene. In response, many artists naturally include Manchester as part of their UK tour, if not their ONLY UK

One of Manchester’s most famous music stages the Manchester Arena never fails to disappoint. If you’re looking for up and coming events at the Arena this May here are just a few:

  • Bruno Mars – performing 2 nights on the 2nd and 3rd of May, this multi-talented musician is set to get you up on your feet to his hits including ‘Uptown Funk’ and ‘Runaway Baby’
  • The Vamps – If rock is more your thing, The Vamps will be on stage on Saturday 6th May
  • The Manchester Arena isn’t only for music fans, with a host of comedians lined up this year, Micky Flanagan is bringing his show to Manchester on Thursday 4th, Saturday 5th & Sunday 6th May
  • One for the Harry Potter fans out there. If you too love the Harry Potter films, the Arena will be hosting The Philosophers Stone accompanied by a full live orchestra on Tuesday 16th May
  • Finally, what could be more Manchester than our very own Take That? Bringing their Wonderland Live tour to their home city. The Manchester boys will be performing for 6 nights including Thursday 18th May, Friday 19th May & Saturday 20th, then, Thursday 25th May, Friday 26th May, Saturday 27th!
