The ever popular music festival ‘Mallorca Rocks’ will be commencing on Tuesday 31st of May with a whole host of exciting and impressive acts. The festival is an annual occurrence on the Balearic Island and gives holiday makers a chance to see some of the world’s greatest and most influential musicians whilst visiting the Spanish Island resort.
Many of the festival attendees choose to combine the event with a stay in one of the many fabulous Villas in Mallorca that are available. The festival itself takes place over seventeen weeks with the largest concerts taking place each weekend during the summer months.
This year the festival will be kicked off by the impressive ‘Plan B’ which is the brainchild of Singer, Songwriter and Rapper Benjamin Paul Ballance-Drew. The British hip hop star has had a whole string of hits around the world including collaborations with ‘Chase and Status’ as well as a number one album ‘The Defamation of Strickland Banks’. Other acts performing on the opening night of the festival will be Wretch 32, Doorly and Nicola Bear.
‘Mallorca Rocks ‘ is the sister festival of the ‘Ibiza Rocks’ festival and throughout the summer of 2011 will bring the likes of Fatboy Slim ,Biffy Clyro and even the Original British Ska band ‘Madness’ to the Spanish Island for music lovers to enjoy.
