One of the UK’s favourite destinations with those seeking a truly relaxing holiday, the New Forest is famous as a home to wild ponies and deer, as well as magnificent oak and beech woods.
Your trip will be based in the elegant Lyndhurst Park Hotel, which is just ten miles from the city of Southampton. From here, you will set out on Saturday morning for a walk lasting approximately eight miles, before stopping for lunch in a traditional country pub. After this, you’ll return to the hotel before enjoying another short walk on the Sunday morning. Walking shoes are required to enjoy this holiday, but don’t worry – all the exercise is conducted at a leisurely pace!
Dinner with wine will also be included on both the Friday and Saturday nights, with the remaining 2012 breaks beginning on the 27th July and 12th October. The break also costs just £265 for the whole weekend (or £195 if you can’t make it down on the Friday evening).
