Eastern Planning Collects Designer Purses for Center for Safety & Change

'Purses for a Purpose,’ Program Delivers Designer Bags for Mother's Day to Shelter

Eastern Planning, Inc., (www.easternplanning.com) has collected and donated 52 purses to the Center for Safety & Change (www.centerforsafetyandchange.org), a non-profit organization in New City, NY, that works to end gender-based violence while providing shelter and supportive services to survivors of domestic violence, abuse and other crimes. The purses, many of them designer bags, were largely donated by Eastern Planning clients. Eastern Planning personnel then filled each bag with toiletries and other personal-care products. The purses are to be given to the mothers at the shelter by their children this Mother’s Day.
The Center for Safety & Change is the only victim-centered, non-profit organization in Rockland County, NY, offering free and confidential life-changing programs and services to victims and survivors of domestic violence, assault, human trafficking and other crimes. The vision of the Center for Safety & Change is to help create a society in which all individuals can live with dignity and equality, free from fear, violence and oppression.
“The Center for Safety & Change helps a great deal of Rockland-area women and their children.
