Phil Wells, author of Dudesong, is pleased to announce that a dramatic reading of his postmodern epic poem adaptation of The Big Lebowski is coming to the Peoples Improv Theater.
Dudesong reimagines cult classic The Big Lebowski as a Homeric epic poem, offering all of the favorite characters and moments from the film in epic translation. The book offers a foreword by Oliver Benjamin, founder of Dudeism, that will also be read during the stage reading.
The Peoples Improv Theatre is an award-winning comedy theater and training center offering instruction, performances, and development of original comedy. Wells and his team look forward to presenting Dudesong in the form of rhyming verse in the style of the Victorian romantic poets at the Peoples Improv Theatre in March 2016.
