Local equine sanctuary has rehabilitated and rescued horses in recent years

MOBILE, ALABAMA (PRUnderground) March 23rd, 2016

Dream Acres Equine Sanctuary, which is dedicated to rescuing and rehabilitating abused, neglected, and slaughter-bound horses, announced today that their organization now has many more horses ready for adoption by interested families. Over the past 3 months, the non-profit organization has rehabilitated dozens of horses rescued from kill lots across the Eastern seaboard. Many of these horses have found loving new owners, but others are still awaiting adoption.

DreamAcres image.pngDream Acres Equine Sanctuary was founded nearly three years ago by Arianna Morgan and has facilities in Mobile, Alabama. The non-profit is a member of the American Horse Council, A Home for Every Horse, the Unwanted Horse Coalition, and the Adopt-a-Mile Program. Dream Acres gives horses a second chance by giving them shelter, nourishment, love, veterinary care, and, ultimately, a forever home.

Currently, Dream Acres is seeking people who are interested in adopting the horses who are ready for their forever homes. These horses are healthy and ready to be loved by their very own human. According to Morgan, each of the horses have sweet dispositions. Some of the horses up for adoption have been trained to ride, and the younger horses have been halter broken and are eager to learn.

In addition, Dream Acres is now seeking trainers to work with rescued horses.

Dream Acres also needs donations to continue to expand its successful efforts. According to Morgan, the non-profit has plans to purchase new property to build a larger shelter facility in the Mobile, Alabama, area.

At the Dream Acres website, people can learn all about the horses ready for adoption. Adoption applications can be completed online, which can be followed up with appointments to visit with the horses. In addition, people can learn more about the organization and make donations online. The website also offers before and after images of rescued horses.

Horses currently available for adoption at Dream Acres include Zoey, Saint, Chloe, and Bella. More information about adoption, donation, and becoming a trainer can be found at https://www.dreamacres.org/.
