Dr. Joy Kong Selected As Stem Cell Doctor Of The Decade By The International Association Of Top Professionals (IAOTP)

Dr. Joy Kong, Regenerative Medicine Physician, Founder of Chara Biologics, President of Thea Center for Regenerative Medicine, and President of the American Academy of Integrative Cell Therapy has just recently been selected as Stem Cell Doctor of the Decade for 2021 by the International Association of Top Professionals (IAOTP).

While inclusion with the International Association of Top Professionals is an honor in itself, only one Doctor is selected for this distinction each year.  Dr. Kong is being recognized for this honor for dedicating over 15 years to the Healthcare Industry. Dr. Kong is a triple board-certified physician by: American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, American Board of Addiction Medicine, and the American Board of Anti-Aging and Regenerative Medicine. While focusing on Anti-Aging and Regenerative Medicine, she is particularly passionate about brain care.

Dr. Kong also dedicates her time to Public Speaking and educating other physicians, founded the American Academy of Integrative Cell Therapy (AAICT), to provide high-quality physician education and training in the regenerative medicine arena.

She has lectured globally on stem cell therapy and worked closely with various stem cell scientists and cell laboratories in the United States. Dr. Kong founded Chara Biologics with the goal to provide the best regenerative medicine products in the country. She was inspired by the transformations she witnessed in her own patients at the beginning of her career in cell therapy, but in the meantime was disappointed by the lack of quality and integrity she saw in the stem cell industry. She made the pledge to provide the best products to patients, and be a pillar of integrity in the industry. She is also passionate about helping children in need, especially autistic children. The stem cell therapy she provided has lead to remarkable improvements in autistic children, and parents are flying in from all over the United States to California to seek her therapy.

Dr. Kong is also an innovator in medical treatments, and has developed ground-breaking treatment modalities to help people with brain conditions.

Dr. Kong grew up on the beautiful campus of Tsinghua University in Beijing which is considered one of the best universities in China. At the age of 20, Dr. Kong came to the United States against many obstacles and graduated as a valedictorian from San Francisco State University. She documented her journey in her memoir “Tiger of Beijing,” which is in the process of being made into a feature film.

Upon graduation, Dr. Kong participated in a research fellowship in neuroscience at the Mayo Clinic and went on to receive her medical training at UCLA School of Medicine. While in medical school, she traveled on medical missions to India and Jamaica, providing free treatment for the underprivileged.

She has demonstrated success not only as a Doctor but also as an author, teacher, and speaker. Throughout her illustrious career, Dr. Kong has received awards, accolades and has been recognized worldwide for her outstanding leadership and commitment to the profession. She was just recently honored in 2020 as IAOTP’s selection of The Empowered Woman of the Year and her book “Tiger of Beijing” won Best Book of the Year 2020. She was on the internationally recognized Times Square Billboard and graced the cover of TIP (Top Industry Professionals) Magazine.

Looking back, Dr. Kong attributes her success to her perseverance, the support she received from her parents, and staying passionate in her pursuit of knowledge. When not working, she enjoys traveling, fitness, friendships, and animals. Dr. Kong says she believes that life is about learning, growing, and fulfilling one’s potentials.  For the future, she hopes to continue to inspire and empower other physicians with her work any way that she can and continue to be a contributing force in the practice of medicine for the 21^st century.
