Dog Philanthropist and Author Laurie Kaplan Accepts Position as Panel Judge for K9 Awards

The K9 Awards, created to discover the best dog foods and dog treats on the market today, announced that Laurie Kaplan has joined their esteemed panel of judges.

Laurie has dedicated her life to helping animals. Her most notable achievement is the creation of the Magic Bullet Fund, a non-profit that provides financial assistance to people who have a dog with cancer but cannot afford treatment fees. She is a respected author, having published books such as, “Help Your Dog Fight Cancer,” and “So Easy to love, So Hard to Lose.”
Laurie says, “I am very excited to accept the position of Judge for the K9 Awards, and I look forward to participating in its mission: Helping dog owners find the right diet for their dogs. I am often asked if nutrition is an important factor toward preventing or fighting dog cancer. Based on extensive research and my work helping dogs with cancer, my conclusion is that diet is indeed an important factor in maintaining optimal health for any dog.”
