Owners of Vernal, Utah’s only locally-owned and operated whitewater river rafting company serve free Thanksgiving meals at a local steakhouse.

Dinosaur River Expeditions, nestled between Flaming Gorge and Dinosaur National Monument in Utah, offers whitewater river rafting adventures on world-famous Colorado and Utah Rivers. As the only locally-owned and operated whitewater rafting outfit in Vernal, the company takes special interest in its community. This Thanksgiving, Dinosaur River Expeditions’ owners will be serving complimentary meals to locals without a place to go for the holiday dinner.
Tyler and Jennifer Callantine have more than 25 years of combined river rafting experience and share their passion through their ownership of Dinosaur River Expeditions. They offer all-inclusive rafting expeditions in Utah and Colorado on the scenic and thrilling Yampa River as well as the Green River through the majestic Gates of Lodore.
The Callantines said that they love both the topography and people of the Vernal, Utah area and are excited to give back through their Thanksgiving service.

The Callantines will serve up Thanksgiving meals at the Quarry Steakhouse in Vernal. The Quarry is providing the free meals for anyone who can’t afford a meal or who doesn’t have a place to eat.
Dinosaur River Expeditions has been offering chartered river trips near Flaming Gorge since 1979.
