DHS Group Announces Strategic $45M Partnership with CloudX: DHS’ Vice Chairman, Fernando Aguirre

DHS Group – the U.S. – UK-based private equity and enterprise service management, automation and integration specialist, today announced a partnership agreement with CloudX – the application, automation and AWS experts that specialise in enterprise use of AWS.

DHS partners since 2010, Unifii have lately been expanding their ServiceNow offerings and the next step in that partnership eco-system is the announcement today that they have teamed up with AWS specialists CloudX to expand the take up of the AWS Service Catalog Connector for ServiceNow, aimed at allowing enterprises to map ServiceNow to AWS.

The AWS connector provides organisations with greater flexibility and governance around how AWS resources are provisioned and accessed. Using the ServiceNow Service Catalogue, ServiceNow and AWS customers can now utilise a single pane of glass for requesting products and services, including browsing the AWS service catalogue direct from ServiceNow with fine-grained control over what is visible.

The AWS service catalogue will integrate with ServiceNow workflows and approval requests, and record provisioned AWS service catalogue items in the ServiceNow configuration management database (CMDB).  Customers will also be able to monitor and update the status of deployments automatically and submit change requests for provisioned product termination.
