Michael Stinson, typography authority and lead instructor at TypeEd claims that a successful graphic design process is one done with precision.
“Do it right the first time,” Stinson says. “Designers who use math as a basis for their proportions allows them to create a typographic hierarchy and build their production files faster.
Stinson will be leading a monthly core training boot camp typography clinic in Los Angeles in which he leads designers through a workout of core-strength exercises, which are the backbone of a graphic designer’s career, allowing designers to build typography systems the right way. The Core Training clinic is geared for teaching the basics of grid formulation and typesetting strategy.
