Loren Bucklin, ConnectedSign President says: “LWTC intended to use the system for emergency communications, event and services promotion and student/visitor information. They pretty much wanted to be power users of all the system could offer.”

Mike Potter, LWTC Head of IT, initially worked to get the system designed and implemented from a physical standpoint. Mike stated, “Being in IT, it was the easiest project I’ve worked on in a long time. The on-line remote sessions were top notch. Everyone at ConnectedSign exceeded our expectations.”

LWTC also wanted the ability to distribute content from third party suppliers such as weather or broadcast television. The college plans to create its own content, contract out for custom content, and/or purchase ready-made content relevant to its operation. Additionally, LWTC has recently been approved to offer its first Bachelor of Technology in Applied Design degree and believes a comprehensive digital signage solution will help to promote awareness of LWTC’s many career pathway opportunities.
Roger Starkweather, ConnectedSign, Business Development Manager was thoroughly engaged and states: “Working with such an amazing team at LWTC was really the topper. Everyone worked together seamlessly to complete all tasks – even over the Christmas Holidays!”
