After an extensive search for a new online bookstore provider through a request for proposal process, Cleveland Community College has awarded eCampus.com the opportunity to serve its students as the new campus online bookstore.
The awarded partnership with eCampus.com will provide students with an enhanced online bookstore shopping experience, providing options such as shopping by their schedule or courses. eCampus.com will offer the students of Cleveland Community College an extensive selection of affordable new, used, rental textbooks as well as a peer-to-peer marketplace. Increased access to digital materials and OER further support the institution’s commitment to textbook affordability. Products will be delivered to students through convenient and fast shipping options, with the option to have orders delivered directly to campus. eCampus.com will also offer an assortment of CCC apparel and merchandise through the online bookstore partnership.
The new Cleveland Community College Online Bookstore will leverage eCampus.com’s Ellucian Ethos partnership to bolster seamless integrations with existing platforms, making it simple to connect real-time student course, schedule, and financial aid data with customized course material lists. Faculty and staff will also see benefits from the new partnership, including an advanced course adoption tool that supports robust research and review capabilities, real-time pricing and availability, and insights into student ordering trends to measure readiness.
“We’re honored to serve as Cleveland Community College’s official online bookstore and applaud them for their efforts to provide students with a solution that addresses textbook affordability coupled with superior convenience and customer service,” said Matt Montgomery, President and CEO of eCampus.com. “We look forward to working together to bring our innovative online bookstore experience to their campus.”
Bruce Cole, Cleveland Community College’s Vice President of Business Operations and CFO, commented on the upcoming partnership:
“We are very excited about the new relationship with eCampus.com. This partnership will provide the College with better bookstore technology, providing a streamlined process for faculty book adoption as well as integrated registration and book purchasing functionality. The partnership will enhance student success by making textbooks and course materials more affordable for students.”
Following the acceptance of the awarded partnership with eCampus.com, Cleveland Community College will end their partnership with Follett at the end of the Fall 2022 semester. eCampus.com will be the active online bookstore for Cleveland Community College for the Spring 2023 semester.
