Unbelievably, it’s been 21 years since Cheshire Oaks first opened its doors to the public. As part of the McArthur Glen Groups celebrations, the outlet will be undergoing a substantial transformation.
Over the years the retail outlet has welcomed over 100 million visitors and become a ‘go to’ for shoppers, whether it be a gift for a loved one or the obligatory wedding outfit. For those of us who live in and around Cheshire, Cheshire Oaks has become something of a shopping mecca.
As part of the outlets extensive renovation, there will be the introduction of new shops, offering more choice and brands to the existing retail stores available (such as Mulberry, Gucci, All Saints and Michael Kors.
Other plans include a new children’s play area, community space, new car parks and improved facilities. Local residents have welcomed the plans which could see the creation of 330 new jobs in the area.
Situated close to the bustling cities of Liverpool and Chester, Cheshire Oaks has always catered for shoppers looking for something special should they be heading to a wedding venue in Cheshire or, indeed the stylish Cheshire Races. One such wedding venue is the boutique hotel Soughton Hall, situated close to leafy Cheshire. Soughton Hall is a beautiful former stately home, set in stunning surroundings, it is the ideal place to stay if you’re planning a weekend of shopping (or the big day itself).
