After taking several years off of large tours to take a residency in Las Vegas, Garth Brooks has been on the road on one of the largest and most exciting world tours of his career. Making this tour – which started in September of 2014 – even more special, none other than Trisha Yearwood has joined Garth on the road for a powerhouse combination of music by two of the world’s favorite country singers and songwriters.

What makes this tour special? While any opportunity to see Garth Brooks – who’s been creating heartfelt hits since 1989 – is exciting, but this tour is especially interesting and carefully thought out. Brooks had a heavy influence on the stage design, as he wanted it to be eye-catching and to “wow” the crowd, but he also wanted to maintain focus on the music. Rather than going with a “theater in the round” setup as many stadium tours do, Brooks went with an “end stage” configuration, giving fans a unique experience from different angles. The Rimrock Auto Arena at MetraPark is located in Billings, Montana is a multi-purpose arena located on the fairgrounds. This venue opened up back in 1975 and underwent extensive renovations during 2010-11 and it has a seating capacity of 12,000. This venue hosts a variety of local sporting, musical, and other events and it will likely be filled to capacity when Garth Brooks headlines here in June.
