Applicants are not required to be certified substitute teachers to apply. Michigan State Requirements are that applicants have completed 60 or more credit hours (any Major) from an accredited college or university. Applicants must also pass a background check, and have some experience working with children/teens in a group setting (Volunteer, church, and camp experience count as well as classroom teaching and student teaching).
