Brennan & Clark Rundown on Garth Brooks’s #1 Forbes Spot

Forbes recently named Garth Brooks the highest-paid country music star, and Brennan & Clark couldn’t be happier to see one of their favorite country singers grace the top of the list. Brennan & Clark, an up-and-coming music duo, are hoping they can one day reach Brooks’s level.

“It’s not surprising to us that Garth Brooks is No. 1 on Forbes’s list,” Brennan & Clark said. “He’s an amazing artist and a smart businessman.”

Part of the reason Brooks soared to the top of Forbes’s list is that he has always been committed to making his shows as personal as possible while he is on tour, which is why he prefers arenas over stadiums. As a result, compared with other artists, the country music singer plays in several arena shows in each city he visits — a touring style that sets him apart in the industry.

“We expect that Garth will continue to be a trailblazer on the country music scene and keep effectively reaching his audience with his personal style,” Brennan & Clark said. “It would be amazing if one day we could share the stage with him.”

Brooks released his first album in 1989, with his third album debuting at No. 1. He has sold more than 100 million albums over the course of his career, and although he retired back in 2000, he re-entered the music industry in 2009 and has been going strong ever since.

Brennan & Clark have soared in popularity recently, making a big name for themselves with the release of their debut album The Personalized Collection of my Soul. The album features the hit songs of “The Collection of My Heart,” “Debt of Your Love,” and “George & a Bottle of Jack Daniel.”
