Ghost the Musical is based on the Academy Award nominated Hollywood smash hit. Follow the emotional tale of lovers Sam and Molly. After a night out, the couple walk back to their apartment where they are mugged and Sam is murdered. Sam then becomes trapped between worlds as a ghost, as he needs to warn Molly that she is in danger. He then attempts to protect her by using a phony psychic to communicate with Molly.
The principle cast includes former Coronation Street star Richard Fleeshman as Sam, Caissie Levy as Molly and Sharon D Clarke as Oda Mae Brown.
The production is directed by award winning Matthew Warchus, features music from Eurhythmic’s Dave Stewart and the stage illusions will be handled by magic circle member and top effects designer Paul Kieve.
To honour the memory of the original star of the movie, Patrick Swayze and recognise his charitable efforts, Ghost the musical is a proud supporter of Stand up to Cancer (SU2C) and will be helping to further Cancer research with their charity single “With You”.
