Any serious and most amateur guitar players will confirm: not all guitars are created equal. In fact, the quality and style of a guitar can have a huge impact on how well a player sounds and performs. In that spirit, Black 35 Guitars have built a remarkable reputation over the last four years for crafting custom guitars that are among the best in the business. Answering demand, Black 35 Guitars recently announced the launch of the East Coaster guitar, the official Black 35 guitar, made in the USA, with a unique, stylish, quality design sure to become a guitar enthusiast favorite.
“In 2020, I introduced my own unique headstock design that was implemented on my custom builds,” commented Anthony Cartinella, Owner and CEO Black 35 Guitars. “Over the last year, I have been in development to design a body style that is unique, yet timeless and functional and this is where the East Coaster was born. My standard and traditional body styles will all still be offered for custom ordering.”

Some highlights of musicians who he has built guitars for include Frank Iero (My Chemical Romance), Rich Fortus (Guns N’ Roses), Gary Holt (Slayer / Exodus), Brian Baker (Bad Religion), Stephen Egerton (Descendents), Frank Turner, and Tracii Guns (LA Guns)
Rich Fortus, from Guns N’ Roses, recently said in a five-star review, “I have five vintage Les Paul Jr’s in my collection that I’ve been playing the live, and in the studio for over 30 years. After a tour with Thin Lizzy in 2011, I decided it wasn’t such a great idea to tour with them anymore. In 2019, I commissioned a custom Junior for Anthony at Black 35 Guitars and it is every bit as good as my 50’s juniors. I’ve been using it live and couldn’t be happier with it. It looks and sounds absolute amazing and their attention to detail and overall vibe is second to none.”
