Behavioral scientist and founder of KEVRA: The Culture Company, Dr. Kevin Sansberry II is announcing the launch of the Toxic Leadership Podcast, now available on all major platforms and www.toxicleadershippodcast.com.

The podcast centers on actionable strategies for leaders, organizations, and companies to improve their leadership and practices, and drive organizational success. Sansberry and his guests discuss practical resources listeners can take advantage of, in order to detoxify themselves, their teams, and their organizations. Business leaders on the program also share their insights and experiences in how they detoxified their companies, which has proven to positively impact staff productivity, employee retention, and bottom-line profitability.

The Toxic Leadership Podcast has already been mentioned as “new and noteworthy” on iTunes. Sansberry says it ranked as the #4 podcast in the nonprofit category in the United States upon launch. It also reached top rankings in 5 countries, including Canada and The Philippines.

Featured episodes center on difficult topics such as racial equity and toxic masculinity in the workplace, as well as how toxicity impacts employee populations worldwide.

Sansberry is a researcher and executive coach who has consulted with individuals, teams, and organizations for more than a decade. He studies toxic leadership, coping and organizational culture. “I wanted to bring this podcast to light because the nightly news offers us numerous stories about toxic leadership and toxic organizational cultures, but the national conversation rarely talks about solutions,” he says. “The Toxic Leadership Podcast is a proactive method for us to engage in conversation about something every employee will likely face in their career in some way, shape or form.”

Sansberry adds that leaders also need to become more aware of their own toxicity, particularly in the face of growing concern with mental health, self-care, and diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives. “We simply can no longer afford to be reactionary about this,” he says, “Only the blatant, obvious situations make the news, but what people have to realize is that those stories are only a small percentage of what really happens in the workplace.
