Bedsure celebrates 52nd Earth Day with call to protect health, livelihoods and the earth
Industry: Home & Garden
Global home textiles company Bedsure marks Earth Day 2022 by highlighting products for healthier communities and a healthier environment.
Walnut, CA (PRUnderground) April 18th, 2022
In 1970, 20 million people in the US took to the streets to show their support for the environment and to raise awareness in the nation’s first Earth Day. By 1990, Earth Day had become a popular global phenomenon with 200 million people in 141 countries taking actions to reduce pollution and protect ecosystems.
With April 22nd 2022 marking the 52nd year of annual Earth Day events, people across the world are expected to join events, celebrate and take actions to benefit the planet.
Inviting its customers to be a part of this positive change, Bedsure has identified 2 upcoming and 2 existing products that are healthier for the planet and for people. The US bedding products are especially suited for families, children, for people with sensitive skin and for those who are passionate about Earth Day.
Lyocell Sheet Set – Upcoming
Made from renewable, carbon-sequestering trees, Lyocell is a regenerated fiber that has many benefits for sleepers.
Lyocell can be composted and biodegrade naturally. It is also soft, breathable and can wick away sweat.
Bedsure’s forthcoming Lyocell Sheet Set is luxuriously soft and cozy. It also has a slight luster and looks great as a key bedroom design element.
Made with Earth Day-inspired colors like green and navy blue, the Bedsure sheet set will be available in the summer of 2022.
Cotton Sheet Set with MADE IN GREEN by OEKO TEX – Upcoming
Another new Bedsure product that allows customers to make every day Earth Day is their new MADE IN GREEN certified Cotton Sheet Set.
This special sheet set is perfect for those who love eco-friendly textiles. Uniquely, this Bedsure sheet set with MADE IN GREEN by OEKO TEX label has been tested for harmful substances and produced sustainably in socially responsible workplaces.
The sheet set features crisp, durable and breathable cotton percale weave.
A special pre-washed finish makes for an extra soft hand feel.
The Bedsure cotton sheet set will be available in solid, neutral tones of grey, white and oatmeal.
This Cotton Sheet Set with MADE IN GREEN certification by OEKO TEX will be available for customers in the US in the summer of 2022.
Linen Sheet Set with Standard 100 by OEKO TEX
One of Bedsure’s more sustainable products is their Linen Sheet Set. Made from the flax plant, linen has many benefits for people and planet.
Flax needs little water and pesticides to grow and thrive. Further, “Every part of the flax plant has traditionally been used to create a worthwhile product—nothing is wasted, and production is cost effective”.
Like bamboo and cotton, flax is a renewable plant. In additional to being breathable, the fabric is also highly durable and long-lasting.
Bedsure’s Linen Sheet Set is soft against the skin and has achieved the requirements for the Standard 100 by OEKO TEX.
Available in four different earthy-tones, including beige, blue and grey, this Bedsure sheet set can make a great Earth Day gift. It is available for purchase via the brand’s Amazon site.
Bamboo Viscose Pillowcases with Standard 100 by OEKO TEX
Bamboo grass is a plentiful, fast-growing plant that can be made into a wide variety of products. Other bamboo benefits include its ability to prevent and reduce soil erosion, its resilience to environmental stresses and its ability to help clean water. It can also grow without fertilizers and pesticides.
When made into bamboo viscose, the fabric becomes soft and smooth. It’s highly breathable and good for hot weather – like linen.
Bedsure has recognized the many benefits of bamboo-derived fabrics and has a couple of home textile products made from renewable bamboo, including their Bamboo Viscose Pillowcases.
Coming in a set of 2, the Bedsure Bamboo Viscose Pillowcases have been tested for harmful chemicals and fulfill the requirements of Standard 100 by OEKO TEX.
Available in three sizes and 12 different colors, the pillowcases make great gifts for hot sleepers because of their breathability.
