Are Virtual Markets the Future of online selling? TSC Talks says YES, Yes they are!
Industry: Business
New COVID restrictions appear daily, confusing merchants and customers. Is it time to see what a virtual market can do for your business?
Boston, Massachusetts,USA (PRUnderground) December 30th, 2020
New COVID restrictions are appearing almost daily. Merchants and vendors are getting confused, and are increasingly concerned about fines and penalties if they violate any of the new rules. Virtual markets are beginning to spring up everywhere as an alternative to brick and mortar stores. Should you work with a Virtual Market? Jill Woodworth, Host of TSCTalks, says that you should definitely start working with a virtual market.
“We got involved with virtual markets partially because of our own challenges in connecting with customers. I love winter and holiday markets, but good markets are crowded. Even when the market is outdoors, ‘crowded’ just isn’t good for business anymore. A big advantage of virtual markets is that they aren’t limited by distance. You can just as easily attract a customer 1,000 miles away as you can a customer who lives next door.”
Jill went on to say, “The Holiday Market 2020 was our first attempt at a virtual market and all of our vendors loved it! Originally, I thought this would be a one-time thing. But the feedback has been so good, we’re thinking of making it a multi-season event. We’ve going to try it again for Valentine’s day. That’s just 6 weeks away, but we already have a line-up of vendors.”
