“Infected with the human papillomavirus (HPV)? The CBCD recommends taking Novirin or Gene-Eden-VIR.” – Greg Bennett, CBCD
Some people believe that surgery to remove anal warts is their only option. “Anal warts (also called ‘condyloma acuminate’) are a condition that affects the area around and inside the anus. They may also affect the skin of the genital area. They first appear as tiny spots or growths, perhaps as small as the head of a pin, and may grow quite large and cover the entire anal area.” (1) The pros of surgery include immediate results, but it “must be performed using either a local anesthetic – such as Novocaine – or a general or spinal anesthetic, depending on the number and exact location of warts being treated. Fulguration (burning), surgical excision (removal), or a combination of both, are used to treat larger external and internal anal warts.” (1) The downside is that anal warts can come back after being removed through standard medical procedures. This is because these treatments are local, and only remove viruses found in the warts, but not elsewhere in the body. Thus, the remaining virus may cause the development of new warts. “Warts that come back after treatment may be caused by the original infection … removing the genital warts doesn’t mean you’re free from HPV.” (2) The CBCD believes that due to this fact, people need a remedy that specifically targets the latent HPV virus throughout the body.

The Center for the Biology of Chronic Disease (CBCD) recommends that Americans infected with HPV take Novirin or Gene-Eden-VIR. The formula of these natural antiviral products was tested by Hanan Polansky and Edan Itzkovitz from the CBCD in two clinical studies that followed FDA guidelines. The studies showed that the Novirin and Gene-Eden-VIR formula is effective against the HPV and other viruses. The clinical studies were published in the peer reviewed, medical journal Pharmacology & Pharmacy, the first, in a special edition on Advances in Antiviral Drugs. Study authors wrote that, “individuals infected with the HPV…reported a safe decrease in their symptoms following treatment with Gene-Eden-VIR.” (2) The study authors also wrote that “we observed a statistically significant decrease in the severity, duration, and frequency of symptoms.” (3)
Both products can be ordered online on the Novirin and Gene-Eden-VIR websites.
Novirin and Gene-Eden-VIR are natural antiviral dietary supplements. Their formula contains five natural ingredients: Selenium, Camellia Sinesis Extract, Quercetin, Cinnamomum Extract, and Licorice Extract. The first ingredient is a trace element, and the other four are plant extracts. Each ingredient and its dose was chosen through a scientific approach. Scientists at polyDNA, the company that invented and patented the formula, scanned thousands of scientific and medical papers published in various medical and scientific journals, and identified the safest and most effective natural ingredients against latent viruses. To date, Novirin and Gene-Eden-VIR are the only natural antiviral products on the market with published clinical studies that support their claims.
Regardless of the treatment option, the warts should not be ignored. “If they are not removed, the warts usually grow larger and multiply. Left untreated, warts may lead to an increased risk of anal cancer in the affected area.” (1).
“Anal warts … usually appear as a flesh or brownish color. Usually, they do not cause pain or discomfort and patients may be unaware that the warts are present. Some patients will experience symptoms such as itching, bleeding, mucus discharge and/or a feeling of a lump or mass in the anal area (1).”
“Warts are caused by the human papilloma virus (HPV), which is transmitted from person to person by direct contact. HPV is considered to be the most common sexually transmitted disease (STD). You may be upset when you are given this diagnosis and it is important to note that anal intercourse is not necessary to develop anal condylomata. Any contact exposure to the anal area (hand contact, secretions from a sexual partner) can result in HPV infection. Exposure to the virus could have occurred many years ago or from prior sexual partners, but you may have just recently developed the actual warts (1).”
While there are some topical medications that can be used against warts, there are no drugs approved for directly targeting the HPV. “If warts are very small and are located only on the skin around the anus, they may be treated with a topical medication in the office and sometimes at home. Common topical medications applied directly to the warts are podophyllin, trichloroacetic acid and bichloroacetic acid… if warts are very small and are located only on the skin around the anus, they may be treated with a topical medication in the office and sometimes at home. Common topical medications applied directly to the warts are podophyllin, trichloroacetic acid and bichloroacetic acid (1).”
As noted above, other treatments include procedures, such as cryotherapy, conization, and the Loop Electrosurgical Excision Procedure (LEEP). These procedures use liquid nitrogen, a surgical knife (scalpel), a carbon dioxide (CO2) laser, or electrical current to remove the abnormal growths caused by the HPV. These growths include cells that harbor the active virus. The procedures do not target cells with the latent virus. Since they do not remove the latent virus, these procedures only produce a temporary remission.” (2) The CBCD believes this is why people need an HPV remedy designed to target the latent HPV. Novirin and Gene-Eden-VIR are two such products.
The CBCD therefore recommends that individuals infected with the HPV virus take Novirin or Gene-Eden-VIR. Learn about Novirin and HPV and Gene-Eden-VIR and HPV.

The Center for the Biology of Chronic Disease (https://www.cbcd.net) is a not-for-profit tax-exempt organization under section 501(c) 3 of the IRS tax code. The center’s mission is to advance the research on the biology of chronic disease and to accelerate the discovery of a cure for these diseases. The CBCD first published Dr. Hanan Polansky’s highly acclaimed “Purple” book, entitled “Microcompetition with Foreign DNA and the Origin of Chronic Disease” in 2003. In this book, he explains how foreign DNA fragments can cause many major diseases. The book has been read by more than 5,000 scientists around the world, and has been reviewed in more than 20 leading scientific journals. These statements have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration. This product is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.
