Alien Hunters add Fresh Martian Utility NFTs to their Repertoire

Industry: Technology

A group of Canadian scientists have arranged for a satellite to be launched into space for the study of UFOs/UAPs, and now they have released a powerful collection of crypto-NFTs. These NFTs will give access to the satellite data and video feeds, will allow owners to enter the 'Extraterrestrial Private Satellite Club' metaverse, and could very likely make them exceptionally wealthy.

If you had heard about a group of scientists a few years back that were sending a satellite into Low Earth Orbit to study UFOs, you aren’t alone (and are we alone?) The groups’ cubesat was to be loaded with instruments, to once and for all prove or disprove whether or not we have aliens visiting our planet from afar.

Well now there’s a collection of NFTs to help you catch your very own sighting of E.T. NFTs (non-fungible tokens) are blockchain secured proof of ownership tokens, the newest addition to the growing Bitcoin, Ethereum and Cryptocurrency craze that’s sweeping the Globe. This collection of “Fresh Martians” feature many unique individual traits, following suit with the popular NFT collections “Bored Ape Yacht Club” and “CryptoPunks”.

Holders of these Fresh Martians will not only have their very own little alien with unique traits, but they will hold a powerful investment (the floor price at time of print is the crypto equivalent of $25 USD), as many publicised NFTs like this one have recently skyrocketed in value, soaring to over a million dollars in some cases. Further, owners of these tokens will get special access to the satellite itself that will orbit our planet. There is even a game in the works, which sounds more or less like another Metaverse, allowing owners to virtually connect and visit various planets in the Fresh Martians world. Finally, the Fresh Martians team plans to have each NFT spawn its own crypto-coins and be listed on the exchanges.

“I had been following crypto through the Pandemic lockdowns, and in the free time with my kids, conjured up the brilliant idea of these aliens,” said Dave Cote, project lead, “… with my background in computer science, it wasn’t a huge learning curve to turn some fun art into useful blockchain assets…” All-in-all, this sounds like an amazing project, with a lot to offer.

You can check out the Fresh Martians here on OpenSea.io, currently the most popular NFT platform, as well as on the teams own website Extraterrestrial Private Satellite Club.
