Zion Learning is introducing its comprehensive national online tutoring program, to provide academic support for 1st through 12th grade students.

CEO and Founder La’Vonnda Haynes-Burnett says Zion Learning is geared towards students of color whose parents may not be familiar the rigors of distance learning and homeschooling, which is being implemented in numerous districts nationwide as the US continues to deal with the COVID-19 pandemic.

“We are providing this educational resource so our community can have access to culturally-competent educational support for our children,” she says.

Zion Learning provides quality online tutoring nationwide by experienced and credentialed tutors who have a genuine care for the students. What distinguishes Zion Learning from other educational support organizations is that Zion Learning’s services include a mentorship element to ensure students can focus on their education and not their circumstances.

“We want parents to know without doubt that their child will be able to receive the maximum support in this new normal of online learning.”

Zion Learning is committed to keeping its tutoring services affordable. Parents can learn more information and enroll at www.zionlearning.com.

Haynes-Burnett launched Zion Learning out of a need to foster relationship building between students and educators. Through her professional work, she has found that students learn better when they’re able to build trust and engage in a mentee-mentor relationship. Doing so facilitates the educational process of deconstructing academic concepts that were once obstacles for the students, thereby fostering a positive, healthy learning exchange.
