Registration is now open for the Additive Manufacturing Conference scheduled to run October 20-21, 2015, in Knoxville, TN. Attendees and media can register now at additiveconference.com
Presented by Modern Machine Shop, in cooperation with Oak Ridge National Laboratory, the Additive Manufacturing Conference is a technical conference, exhibit hall and business networking event focused on the application of additive manufacturing technologies for making functional components and end-use production parts.
“With the introduction of the Additive Manufacturing workshop at IMTS 2014, the industry loudly endorsed the need for an event that addresses additive and 3D printing technologies for the machining and metalworking business. We are really excited to open registration for an event that expands on the successful Additive Manufacturing workshop format by introducing registrants to experts in developing and adopting tools, technologies and processes for the industrial application of additive manufacturing,” explained Additive Manufacturing Conference Director, Allison Miller.
The two-day event will open October 20th with Oak Ridge National Laboratory’s Dr. Lonnie Love discussing how his team is “Breaking Barriers in Additive Manufacturing.” The event will conclude October 21st with an exclusive tour of Oak Ridge’s Manufacturing Demonstration Facility. Throughout, attendees will experience both entry and expert level insights into the processes, applications and materials being used in additive manufacturing for industrial production.
