The Additive Manufacturing Conference (AMC) 2015 has announced that its already expanded exhibit room is nearly sold out. Presented by Modern Machine Shop, in partnership with Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL), the two-day technical conference, exhibit room and networking event takes place October 20-21, 2015, at the Knoxville Convention Center in Knoxville, TN.

Currently, the Additive Manufacturing Conference exhibit room includes 38 leading equipment and service suppliers all involved in additive manufacturing and 3D printing technology. Registrants, sponsors and speakers will have access to the exhibit room throughout event hours including breaks, meals and receptions.

While the Additive Manufacturing Conference has its origin in technical programming, Event Director, Allison Miller, is not surprised by the heightened exhibit room interest. “Information on additive manufacturing or 3D printing is in high demand, especially within industrial manufacturing. A big part of that demand is understanding what the technology is and how it is used. But, just as in demand is information on the machinery, the materials, and the products used in additive manufacturing. Our exhibit hall will feature the leading suppliers and end users of the machines, materials and products use in additive manufacturing.”

The Additive Manufacturing Conference 2015 will include nearly 20 technical sessions on industrial applications of additive manufacturing. Presenters include experts from leading additive manufacturing adopters like GE Aviation, Honeywell, Linear Mold & Engineering; and, event partner, Oak Ridge National Laboratory. The AMC 2015 will also include exclusive tours of leading vehicle 3D printer, Local Motors and of Oak Ridge National Laboratory’s Manufacturing Demonstration Facility.

Discounted early registration is open and extends through September 21, 2015. For more information or to register, visit www.additiveconference.com
