Holistic Neurodevelopment Offers First-of-its-Kind Facility for Psychosocial Intervention

The team at Holistic Neurodevelopment has announced their official launch. The Inland Northwest will receive brand-new, first-of-its-kind facilities, with the opening of the treatment centers.

Holistic Neurodevelopment has offices in Lewiston, Idaho, and Spokane, Washington. These clinics will provide clients with tailored programs to help individuals who fall into “the gap” left between those who are able to function within existing academic, social, and family structures and those who need intensive psychiatric help.

Holistic Neurodevelopment aims to facilitate individuals reaching goals on their own terms through customized treatment plans focusing on areas such as communication, organization, memory, social skills, and more.

“On the other side of disabilities, there is a long list of abilities. Yes, we help our clients navigate through their weaknesses, but we place emphasis on honing their strengths,” said Dr. Lynn Fraley, Holistic Neurodevelopment’s founder.

Lynn A. Fraley, PhD, NCC, LCPC, launched the company to provide solutions to problems she felt weren’t being addressed during her time as a psychotherapist. “It’s become increasingly evident that there needs to be more space for children who aren’t adapting to traditional learning methods and environments. Simply put, public education is failing us and them. Unfortunately, there is far too much emphasis placed on medication and behavior management, without confronting the tough issues that face young people that learn differently or have emotional difficulty coping in highly-structured systems,” said Dr. Fraley.

Holistic Neurodevelopment will focus on solutions and success as opposed to shortcomings by teaching young adults and children to be the masters of their own destiny. The center will empower abused and neglected youth to think beyond the present and to envision a life without limits. Once they’ve created their dreams, Holistic Neurodevelopment will give them the skills and tools they’ll need for the real world.

According to Dr. Fraley, the goal of her program is to acknowledge the past with a view to a boundless and bright future.
