With the year rapidly approaching Easter, it’s a great time to start looking for cheap London accommodation and planning your trip to the capital. It’s the egg hunts that are the biggest draw at this time of year; they’re the perfect family activity, and, as usual, there’s a range of locations holding them, from historic properties to London landmarks. Some of the best include:
Ham House – A picturesque National Trust property that hosts an egg hunt in the grounds of the house every Easter. This year, the property is teaming up with Cadbury’s for a yummy range of chocolate treats.
Red House – Red House will be playing host to an exciting hunt around the grounds along a specially devised trail, as well as a range of other Easter activities; bound to be a great way to enjoy some of the Easter fun.
London Bridge Experience – For those who enjoy a slightly spookier atmosphere; Children with a taste for the macabre are bound to get a thrill from the Easter Head Hunt at the London Bridge Experience.
Fenton House – Set in the grounds of this 17th century merchant’s house will be a slightly more cerebral egg hunt; track down and solve the hidden clues for the chocolaty treats.
The O2 – The arena will be hosting a Dinosaurs Unleashed attraction this Easter, providing the ideal opportunity for a Dino egg hunt! Budding young paleontologists will be able to enjoy a dino-themed egg hunt around the attraction.
Foundling Museum – The Foundling Museum will be offering up its own hunt again this year, with those taking part able to claim their own prize from the near by chocolate shop: Chocolat Chocolat.
These are just a selection of the egg hunts that will be happening in and around London this Easter. There will be plenty of other fun Easter activities planned to keep the family entertained over the Easter holidays; and remember Easters not just for the children, there’s plenty for adults to enjoy too!
