The Guinea Group of Companies to host the 1st annual Gladstone Safety Expo with guest Matt Golinski

The First Safety Expo will be a first, and a major event for the Gladstone region along with a guest appearance by Celebrity Chef Matt Golinski.

In March, 2014, The Guinea Group of Companies (TGG) will host the first annual Gladstone Safety Expo. The Expo will be a first, and a major event for the region. There will be many large organisations, including some of the local safety equipment suppliers, promoting their businesses at the expo along with presentations by industry keynote speakers.
The expo has also managed to attract a high profile celebrity appearance, with chef Matt Golinski travelling to Gladstone for the weekend to attend the expo and engage with exhibitors and attendees. Matt, and TGG will be donating any profits from the expo to the Burns Unit at the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital.
Employees and employers will all benefit from attending the expo, as there will be a number of speakers delivering sessions on how to improve the safety culture in organisations and ultimately, how to keep their employees safe. The goal of the Gladstone Safety Expo is to help organisations work towards their safety goals, and to ensure that they can provide a safer workplace for their employees.
TGG owner, Anton Guinea, also a burns victim, and passionate supporter of the Burns Unit will also be speaking on the day about his experience as a workplace incident survivor. Guinea, who was badly burnt by electrocution on the job has been an advocate of workplace safety and is a sought-after speaker on the subject. “It was that spark, that changed my life”, says Guinea who after his accident went on to improve his life including becoming an author and international speaker.
