Abel Arts is thrilled to announce its latest collaboration with Breakside Brewery. Breakside’s newest brewery in Astoria, Oregon features a 50-foot mural by popular Pacific Northwest artist Erik Abel. Abel has partnered with Breakside on previous projects, including designing the label for the Brewery’s top-selling Stay West IPA and painting a mural in the original Breakside Brewery location in Northeast Portland. His latest mural at Breakside Brewery in Astoria features the signature waves he’s become known for, adding to the immersive atmosphere and , marrying craft beer with artistic mastery.
The Breakside Brewery mural is a new contribution to Abel’s robust portfolio and his second with the Brewery. The piece elegantly portrays the coastal range descending into the Pacific Ocean, with the majestic Saddle Mountain gracing the backdrop. It’s an expansive work of art that breathes life into the vibrant taproom.
Abel’s oceanic and nature-inspired art has captivated audiences worldwide and found resonance with iconic brands. Erik Abel’s art strikes a harmonious balance between the natural world and imaginative expression. Born and bred on the west coast, Abel’s lifelong love of the ocean is deeply reflected in his art.
