Juvenile Arthritis Awareness Month is a Time for Education About a Potentially Debilitating Disease

July is Juvenile Arthritis Awareness Month when the medical community educates families about the dangers of the disease, which affects 300,000 children.

“Many people think arthritis is a disease that affects seniors,” said Laura Collinwood RN, President of Health and Wisdom in Missouri. “Although arthritis is more common among older adults, thousands of children are diagnosed yearly.”
