Salt Lake City Bakery Changes Name To Forty Three Bakery to Reflect New Identity

Popular Utah bakery, Streusel SLC, is getting a new name and look.

After three and a half years in business, Streusel SLC is changing its name. The bakery has grown exponentially since opening with the help of many loyal customers. It’s time for the bakery to show off its new identity by giving it a brand refresh.  As part of this change, the establishment will be rebranded as “Forty Three Bakery”.

Streusel SLC turned to Elle Marketing and Events for a thorough design process for their branding refresh. The team of creatives at Elle Marketing went through several rounds of revisions with owner, Andrew Corrao, to ensure the best design was created to represent them.

“It has been a pure delight working with the incredibly organized professionals at Elle Marketing and Events,” said Andrew Corrao, Owner. “Not only have they created a logo that is beyond what I even imagined, they have been kind, thoughtful, and so pleasant to work with.”

A completed brand package was the result with new logos, a brand guide, fonts, primary and secondary colors and a stand-alone icon.

“I was so excited to work with Andrew on his rebrand,” said Lydia Martinez, Owner Elle Marketing and Events. “He came to us with some really clear ideas about the name—we had an amazing time playing with some fresh, vibrant and earthy colors and also creating something that felt more graphic and bolder. His previous brand [Streusel SLC] did not really reflect the type of pastry what he was doing, people were confused by the word Streusel. One little secret about  “Forty Three” is that 4300 is actually the elevation of Salt Lake, and the icon is actually the shape of the state of Utah – so there is that little personal tie to our beautiful state as well.”
