Jessica Sauls receives Empowered Woman Award by IAOTP

Jessica Sauls, Owner, and Stylist of By Jessica & Co. Beauty Lounge, was recently chosen to receive the Empowered Woman of the Year Award for 2022 given by the International Association of Top Professionals (IAOTP). Her exemplary role as a female business professional and talented entrepreneur displays her influence, capability, and proficiency.

Inclusion with the International Association of Top Professionals (IAOTP) is an honor in itself, only a few women are chosen for this distinction based on their years of experience, professional accomplishments, academic achievements, leadership abilities, and contributions to their communities. After many years in the hospitality and service industries, Jessica took a leap of faith and applied her expertise towards the beauty industry. In 2016 she founded By Jessica & Co. Beauty Lounge located in Pooler, GA. She is an extraordinary hair stylist and talented in makeup artistry.

Before opening her salon, Jessica received her master’s degree in 2012 and holds an eyebrow certification and a lash certification from Novalash. She is masterly trained in hair coloring and highlighting. Jessica attends hair cutting courses and classes to further her skills.

By Jessica & Co. Beauty Lounge is a boutique salon with a modern, shabby chic look that feels homey. She offers women’s and men’s haircuts, children’s haircuts, coloring, highlights, all phases of waxing and makeup, hair extensions, eyelash/eyebrow tinting, eyelash extensions, and Bridal hair and makeup.

Throughout her remarkable career, Jessica has received awards, accolades and was featured in magazines. She graced the Front Cover of TIP (Top Industry Professionals) Magazine and had an exclusive interview on TIP Radio. Jessica was chosen as Top Cosmetologist of the Year for 2021 and she was featured on the famous Reuters Billboard in Times Square, NYC. By Jessica & Co Beauty Lounge has been recognized as “Best Hair Salon” in Pooler, GA for 2016 and 2020. Jessica will be considered for Business Innovator of the Year Award.

In addition to her successful career, Jessica is in the process of writing her own book. She is an active member of her community and supports her local Breast Cancer Society. Moreover, Jessica supports domestic violence victims and feels this is extremely important to use her voice to help in any way she can. “Being a hairstylist is like being a therapist”, says Jessica. She enjoys her work and is working on opening a second location soon.

Looking back, Jessica attributes her success to her passion for the beauty industry and her desire to make people happy and enhance their looks. When not working, Jessica loves to be in the sun and at beach, she enjoys hanging out with friends and family, and gardening.  In the future, she hopes to establish a mobile branch of her business brand.
