Legacy Center’s Teen Leadership Program: A Dynamic Opportunity This Summer

Legacy Center (the leader in Personal Development and Leadership trainings) believes it is never too early to start empowering young men and women to live responsibly and in contribution to others and the world.  This summer, Legacy Center is offering its highly successful Teen Leadership (TL) Program for teens between the ages of 13 and 17.  Teenagers come from all over the United States to participate in this four-day coaching program.  TL26, our 26th class of teen leaders, is a dynamic motivational and leadership workshop for teens that have a sincere commitment to create extraordinary results in their lives.  Teenagers are empowered to have the courage to face challenges, to be free to create, to grow, and to listen and communicate effectively.

The teen years can be a complicated time for our children to learn how to be their best selves and to authentically connect with others.  Technology, such as smart phones and video games, has added new challenges in relationships.  Cyberbullying has become a real problem and children are learning to connect through text messaging instead of heart to heart.

In this unique coaching program, teens enhance their self-esteem, improve their ability to communicate and relate to others, and develop respect for themselves and others. In TL, teenagers discover and release the self-imposed limitations that keep them from fully achieving their maximum capabilities.  This allows them to pursue their dreams and goals with new freedom and passion. TL participants also begin to create a solid foundation of powerful tools they will use the rest of their lives.

Teen Leadership is a fun and interactive experiential course where students elevate their Emotional Intelligence and create lasting results in the areas of:

self-confidence, ability to rise above peer pressure, living from personal responsibility, clarity on goals, commitments, and choices, achieving higher grades, happiness and gratitude, learning how to deal with stress and the expectations of teachers and parents, communicating more openly and honestly with family and friends, integrity, emotional intelligence, listening skills, self-control, and living your word.

Student’s comments:  “TL helped me break out of my shell.  I used to bottle everything inside and never let anyone in. The stress was unbearable. Now I make my problems known and handle them as soon as I can. I am open now with my parents and friends. I let people in.“

This summer’s program is in the Raleigh/Durham area of North Carolina, and will be held from July 18 to July 21.  The workshop starts on Thursday evening at 6:00 PM, and is all-day Friday, Saturday, and Sunday until 6 PM.  Sunday culminates in a special workshop for teens and their parents.  The tuition for the entire program is $595.
