2Gether-International (2GI) is changing the way we talk about people with disabilities by providing a “first of its kind” accelerator program for women founders with disabilities.
The 2GI Women’s Accelerator Program is wrapping up a 3-month program that provides education, mentorship, leadership coaching and financial support to thirteen early stage female entrepreneurs with disabilities. To celebrate their accomplishments and the 31st Anniversary of the ADA on July 26, six members of the cohort will pitch their company for a chance to win seed funding.
This initiative would not be possible without the support of the Loreen Arbus Foundation, Luna Startup Labs, and Women’s Entrepreneurship Day Organization (WEDO).
The pitch contest will be open to the public and attendees will be able to vote for a winner. The link to attend the event is womenspitch.eventbrite.com. The event will take place from 6-8PM.
The judges will include Preetha Ram,VC. Technophile. Entrepreneur, Barbara Guterman, President at OTGbaby. Inc, Gina Kline,Founder and CEO, SmartJob, LLC, Wendy Diamond,Founder of Women’s Entrepreneurship Day Organization, Rachel Koretsky Founder & CEO of Upace and Hannah Frankl Product Marketing Manager at Google for Startups.
2Gether-International will also announce the launch of their new accelerator program, with support form Google for Startups. This accelerator will focus on supporting 12 founders with disabilities working in the high growth, high tech industry.
